  • I was just curious what process you use in getting the images and adding them. I went through a long roundabout way screenshotting the collection page on my tablet, Then copying to laptop and editing it in GIMP removing the background and such leaving all but the number and monster, but wasent sure how to upload it and add it to the wikia.

Mainly just curious about whether you got them from the game data. Or what programs you use in the process.

    • I use screenshot too, then I send them to my computer and use PAINT.NET and I have a simple process of a few steps I repeat each new update to make background transparent and resize images.

    • How about the Job class images?  Especially since they stand there without their weapons.

        Loading editor
    • I use the same technique by using screenshot inside the temple. I remove the weapons more or less manually at the end of my process since the picture is small only a few pixels are left. It is time consuming because of the volume of classes/pets/bosses, etc.. But it does not take long for each of them.

    • Also I have been using a temporary phone for the past few months, (last one died) and I am not incline to play the game if it is to begin all over again for next phone.

I won't be posting new pics until I get a new phone, which could take a while since I have not really found any that really interest me.

  • Yeah, it's me again.

So one boring night and an MS Painting spree later, I've created this:

    Minute Frontier Wiki Banner ColorBG

    Tada!

Note that I'm a complete idiot on how a proper Wiki banner is created, applied and formated, but I'm just putting this here just as a suggestion. If you find it too low quality/it conflicts with proper Wiki Banner rules, I guess we can just ignore it or improve it.

And yes, some of the letters are a tad bit bumpy (F and O of Frontier), but know that in the game they truely are bumpy. I could change it to be more sharp, but I think the bumpiness adds character and accuracy to the series.

    • Good Job! I like it.

You need admin rights to update banner and any kind of style. I will put it as soon as I can.

      Hi!

I downloaded your banner and pumped it up a little,

First, I added transparency in the background in order to keep the banner while limiting problems if we ever change the color in the wiki etc...

Second, I added a small boss shouting for more fun/less strict banner, what do you think?

        Loading editor
    • I think that's perfect for the wiki! The added transparancy  should allow it to function correctly as a banner, and the Goblin Load is a nice little mascot.

        Loading editor
    • Ok I will add it as a banner then!

Edit: I also added the Gobelin Load as a Favicon in web browser, that's fun.

  • Hello Rybink, Legofan here again.

I've been adding plenty of pages on the jobs of Minute Frontier, but I've hit a problem on page names. Namely (no pun intended) the Necrmncer job.

What sould we do with the name of this page? It is obvious the actual name of the job is Necromancer, but should we be true to the original source, or should we take librities on proper grammar and dismiss the Necrmncr name as a limitation within the game.

I honestly believe that naming it Necrmncr is slightly better, as it is the name new people will be searching for first and it is true to the in-game data. But then again, a simple redirect can cure that and the missing O, A and E really seems unprofessional to leave it in such a state.

Same problem with MGKKnight and BLKKnight are present.

    • Hi, sorry for the delay I've been on vacation on and off for the past couple weeks with few access to computer or time to Wikia. Good job for all the specific character pages.

I understand you dilemma, in my opinion it is better to stay as close as possible to the game and thus the character pages should be respectively Necrmncr, MgkKnight and BlkKnight. On the other hand, redirection is a good idea, I will make redirection pages for people spelling the actual full words Necromancer, Magik Knight and Black Knight

  • Hello Rybnik.

I am curious on weather or not to add new pages for the wiki. Being a new editor, I don't want to trample on anyone's toes and make a faulty page.

These include: A Weapons page, Individual pages for each Job and Enemy, Categories for element types/weapon drops.

A weapons page is a MUST, as it intensively helps to explain the game mechanic and illustrate how to use them.

Pages for each Job and enemy, though it would be extensive, I beilve is mandatory. The current Jobs page is large, bulky and can constitute plenty of pages with each Job given a strategy is provided. The Pets page is the same state, as enemies can also contain a strategy to counter them.

Categories will also allow for quick navigation and sorting for these pages.

    • Hi! I already have been writing many new pages but as they are not finished yet I did not post them. Weapons is one of them. The best to do is I will post what I have currently done today when I will have access to my computer and you will be able to complete if you want

    • I am currently adding some of the info I have been thinking of for some time, in general I thought adding to many pages can be harmfull to the user because of too much navigation, ending with pages with almost no info on it, etc...

We can divide work, I have created a Weapons page I will let you fill it up as you wish, we could also add pages for each weapon with synthesis on its mechanics, basic multiplicator for each jobs and which monsters drop them.

I also created a thread on the forum to discuss nexts pages and what to add next on the wikia.

For the jobs list I already put a navigation table a while ago, but with the increasing number of jobs, making separate pages can be a good idea, I do agree.

For the pets page however I kind of disagree as enemies does not have specific strategies to counter them (except maybe for bosses) it is more of a matter of builds and how you as a character like to play. For such strategies I think making a good "Character Builds" page is better.

Categories is a really good idea too, I can't really think of many categories for now, I will let you do as you think is best and act upon that.

I am new at this too so welcome onboard!

  • Hello there Ryb, I should've seen your character stats first before posting a comment in the Buildings part of the wikia. Since you've passed world 3 and 4 in the game, can you edit the parts in "?" in Worlds in the Buildings page? I can't seem to find any information related to the enemy's starting levels, even in reddit...

    Thanks. :)
